Hymn 229
Wait not for To-morrow.
OH, wait not for to-morrow, Thou thoughtless, tender youth, Thou may'st evade much sorrow, If, now, thou'lt hear the truth. Oh, wait not for to-morrow, Thou middle-aged one, Thou can'st in death not borrow The grace of God's dear Son.
Oh, wait not for to-morrow, Thou aged sinner, too; To-day thy Savior follow, Thou must be born anew. Oh, wait not for to-morrow, When thou dost hear these lines, Oh, flee a future sorrow, And in bright glory shine.
