Desire for Spiritual Aid.

IN weakness, Lord, we come, To have our strength renew 'd; That we may do our Master's will With heart and will subdued.

Help us to ask of Thee— Thy faithfulness to prove; To ask in faith, and to receive The tokens of Thy love.

Show us our helplessness— Our constant need of grace; Until in triumph we complete Our glorious Christian race.

Oh, make it our delight To wait on Thee in pray'r, And thus communing, Lord, with Thee, Our souls for heaven prepare.

Help us to watch and pray, And ever strive to be From the enslaving power of sin, Now and forever free.
